A Message from the Interim Executive Director
Dear Friends,
It is such a joy to reconnect with the Grace House family and to greet you through this newsletter. Many of you know me from my years serving here, and I am deeply honored to return as Interim Executive Director during this important time in our organization’s journey.
Grace House has always held a special place in my heart. I’ve witnessed firsthand the courage of the women who walk through our doors, the dedication of our staff, and the steadfast generosity of supporters like you. Coming back feels like coming home—and I am reminded again how powerful our mission is when we work together.
This season is one of both continuity and growth. While I am here in this interim role, my focus is on supporting our incredible team, ensuring our programs remain strong, and preparing the way for the next chapter of leadership. I am grateful to be able to bring my experience, my passion, and my deep belief in the life-changing work of Grace House to this moment.
Thank you for your commitment, your trust, and your heart for the women we serve. Your generosity makes recovery possible, and together, we will continue to open doors to hope, healing, and new beginnings.
With gratitude,
Charlotte Hoppers
Interim Executive Director

Your support makes stories like this possible. Recently, we received a heartfelt message from a client’s mom—a powerful reminder of the life-changing impact you help create at Grace House. Because of your generosity, women have the opportunity to heal, rebuild, and embrace lasting recovery. Every act of kindness, every donation, and every moment of support fuels this transformation, offering hope and dignity to those on their journey. Thank you for being an essential part of this mission.
I just want to say how much your program has made a huge change in our daughter. She is sounding more like her old self and happy. We spent yesterday with her for her 4-hour pass, and she was a totally different person than the one we dropped off in December. I just can’t thank Grace House for helping her with the tools and education to living a sober drug free lifestyle. This is the 3rd rehab she has been in and the first time I can see a difference. And her just going through the motions to get by and get back home. Maybe the other times she wasn’t ready yet and she is now. Thanks for everything the Grace House does the women that walk through your doors and treat them with kindness and love. And help them learn to love and respect themselves and to know they deserve better walking out than when they walked in. Just praying that when she comes, she will be able to take what she has learned and be able to live a sober life from now on. Thanks again for helping get the daughter I knew was still there. From a grateful Mom.
