Letter from Director

Welcome to Grace House of Memphis!

Grace House of Memphis opened its doors in 1976 as a safe place for alcoholic women to support each other as they sought sobriety. It soon became licensed by the state of Tennessee as a treatment facility with a broad continuum of care. It has always been the goal to offer the highest quality services to the chemically dependent women, their families and the community at large.

Since our humble beginnings, Grace House of Memphis has been home to over 5,600 women with the goal of helping them to have an improved, more functional life in sobriety. As you view our website, you will see the variety and scope of services we offer. You will surely notice the quality staff and the caring home atmosphere. Hopefully you will come to realize that that which we strive for most is “growing” the light of hope in the women that we serve. Hope for a better life, hope for a restored family, hope for a life of filled with joy and peace, hope for women and families afflicted with this cunning, baffling and powerful disease.

I welcome you to our website and invite you to visit our facilities and see for yourself, our commitment to the women that we serve and the passion of our staff.

All the Best,

Charlotte Hoppers, Executive Director
